Palisades Virtuosi presents a program of works that celebrate New Jersey, either written by or about our great state. Our featured commissioned work will be by Bergen County resident, Jeffrey Kaufman based on the poem Paterson by Rutherford native William Carlos Williams. In a rare diversion, this work will include a narrator in addition to the ensemble of flute, clarinet & piano. We will announce our featured narrator shortly. |
Other works will include The Sea Nymph by local composer, Godfrey Schroth, performed in his memory; also George Washington Slept Here! by John Lampkin. More works will be announced shortly.
Palisades Virtuosi is thrilled to be performing their debut appearance at Bergen Countys latest performing arts venue - HACPAC in downtown Hackensack. Free Parking is available and there is lovely park at the venue, along with a wonderful art gallery in which we will give our pre-concert talk at 2:15 prior to the concert at 3:00. Reception following the concert to meet and greet with the artists and composer.
